From Mastered Peace to Masterpiece

Hey friend, welcome — I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Keesha Renée, though in the art world, I go by K. Renée. I’ve been a creative soul my entire life—styling hair, doing nails and makeup, sewing, and expressing beauty in all its forms. But about five years ago, I stumbled into something deeper: visual art. In that discovery, I found a form of therapy I didn’t even know I needed.

Drawing and painting became my safe space. A creative mirror. An unexpected healer. It helped me quiet the noise in my mind, embrace stillness in all forms, and master peace—one brushstroke at a time. Today, I pour all of that energy into every piece, working with mediums like acrylic and oil paint, charcoal, digital, and mixed media to express the parts of life that words sometimes can’t reach.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA (GO Stillers 🖤💛) and now rooted in Raleigh, NC, I’ve finally found the courage to share my art with the world. This digital space is a reflection of that journey—raw, real, and full of heart and authenticity. My hope is that something you see here makes you feel seen, understood, encouraged, empowered, or simply inspired to create something meaningful of your own.
